Job description

As part of a global finance project the migration from SAP R3 to SAP S4/HANA is being carried out. At the same time, the delivery route to the future SAP system will also be placed on a new basis. The aim of this data pool is to transfer the data from the supplying systems (feeders) into the input structures. The data pool is divided into a Core and a OE (=organizational entity) specific part. Most tasks are to be carried out in the OE specific part.  

You will 

• Create data models for all elements to be modeled (tables, datamarts, etc.) 

• Implement the entire ETL processes as part of the architecture and processes specified by the project 

• Define and implement the necessary landing zone and data store for ingesting the raw data 

• Carry out the staging using data lake architecture and processes 

• Set up the raw data vault for the OE and across the board. 

• Set up the business data vault for OE and across the board. 

• Create customer-specific data warehouses and data marts within the scope of the Consumption Layer using data from different layers 

Your Skills 

5+ years experience with: 

• Microsoft Azure Data Technologies 

• Design of Data lake Solutions 

• Modeling of Raw- and Business Data vaults 

• Design of Datawarehouses and Datamarts 

• Orchestration of Data processing 

Technologies 

• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 

• Azure Synapse Analytics e.g. with Synapse dedicated SQL-Pools 

• Sparke Notebooks (SQL, Python) 

• Azure Functions 

• Stored Processes within Synapse Analytics 

• Azure Synapse Pipelines 

• Data Modeling: ERWIN 

• Data Catalog and Quality: EDC 

Nice to have: 

• Oracle SQL / PL/SQL 

• SAS Base (incl. Macro programming) and DI-Studio 

• Linux Bash 

• PowerBI
