Job Description:A job opportunity has arisen for a "Mechanical Systems Integration & Design Engineer" within Airbus Defence & Space to be based on Getafe site in Spain. The successful candidate will join Medium&Light Area and will be integrated into a multidisciplinary team, mainly dedicated to the management and integration of C295 Program in the mechanical systems as well as other M&L platforms (CN235, C212, . . . ). This job opportunity is for 1 year contract. The main activities of a Mechanical System integration & Design Engineer are related with delivering technical solutions in support of building, test, and delivery aircraft: Mechanical Systems definition from System ArchitectureMechanical Components Specification for purchasingMechanical Parts Documentation for ManufacturingMechanical Systems Installation Documentation for assemblingInterfacing with external partners and suppliers and communicating with corresponding stakeholders in design reviews, test report and Project follow-up meetings. Associated competencies to main activities are:Systems requirement challengingCriteria for systems segregationDefinition of systems component positionComponents selection, specification and practical applicationSelection of Manufacturing TechnologiesAssembly and Maintainability instructionsProduction and Service Support concurringDocuments revision & editionKPI Generation, Documentation Plan & Status ReportDesign Manual and Design Principles contributingDesign & Product improvement activitiesSupport cross-program configuration control and cross-functional proceduresRequired Competences & SkillsDegree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge and experience in CATIA and PDM/PLM Tools, as well as the usual back office tools (Office. . . ). Abilities to accept Design delegation. Motivated, proactive and team dynamic player. Committed in their own development to learn new skills. Fluent in Writing and Spoken English (B2 level or higher). Knowledge of aircraft systems & structures design. Professional experience as Engineer / Designer on Fluid Systems Installations (hydraulic, fuel, pneumatics, etc) and Equipment installations (sensor & antennas, lights and cameras, cockpit installations, LRU installations, etc).
