JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Li-based line at CIC energiGUNE is recruiting a researcher with expertise on lithium metal anodes. The candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary environment at CIC energiGUNE and will contribute to a project aiming to develop safe and efficient lithium metal anodes for lithium metal batteries.
Area : Electrochemical energy storage (EES)

- PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Science or similar. Applications with Doctor of Engineering with specialization in electrochemistry are also welcome
- Strong knowledge in fundamental electrochemistry is indispensable.
- Critical thinker and problem solver with preffered interest in technology transfer.
- Expertise on the electrodeposition of metals.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
The following additional experience and skills will be highly valued:
- Expertise in Lithium metal batteries.
- Experience in anodeless cell concept development.
- Characterization techniques such as SEM and/or XPS
- A team player who can collaborate with other groups, technical centers, and industries.
