Due to our rapid growth, we are currently looking to hire a JuniorCommercial Account Manager.
In this role you will work closely with the sales and marketing team based in Valencia and Belgium. As a successful candidate, you can expect intensive support from your mentor (a senior account manager). In the beginning your role will focus the most on sales & contract administration and account management support.
However we are looking withthe interest & ambitionto grow step by step in in a full account management role within a scope of 2 - 3years.
Your role
Thisrole is a 50/50 split, encompassing administrative support for account managers and direct client portfolio management.
(1) You focus on renewing agreementsas well as up-selling and cross-selling extra services, all with existing accounts.
Specific tasks could be:
- You manage our contract renewal calendar and communicate with clients in a timely manner to make sure contracts get renewed. If necessary, you handle the documentation regarding such renewals.
- You handle each request regarding adaptation of contracts with existing customers, either in terms of scope (countries and/or sites included in the contract) or type of services that are delivered, bycommunicating with the clients to clarify their demands, adapting contract texts and adapting or editing annexes to contracts, and by frequent liaisinguntil the documents are signed.
- You handle requests for extensions of collaboration , again either in terms of scope or type of services. As with adaptations, you communicate, edit thecontract texts, and obtain signatures. In case of large extensions, you work together with a business developer on this.
- In case E&C develops new service offerings, you work together with marketing and business developers to offer these new services to existing clients.
- You calculate offers with our price list template
- You set-up and manage client calls autonomously to discuss contract renewals or adaptations.
- You ensure the CRM system is consistently updated with relevant client data.
(2) Youwill become responsible for asmall portfolio of clients to develop, maintain and strengthen the relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationship with the client to foster long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion
- Engage in negotiations and effectively manage client contracts to ensure mutual satisfaction
- Proactively anticipate client needs based on requests, demonstrating a commitment to exceeding expectations

What do we think would make you a perfect match?
- You have a first experience in account management or sales support and you want to grow into an account management role
- Experience is a plus but we welcome young starters with a can-do attitude
- You enjoy having meetings with your clients to understand their needs, renegotiate agreements and extend the business relationship.
- English is our internal and externalworking language in dealing with international clients,
therefore excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is required. - You are wellorganised with great time management (you will be managing numerous contacts including scheduling, follow up, and establishing frequent points of interaction)
- You have the right communication skills to obtain information and signatures from clients in an assertive yet service minded and diplomatic way
- You are relationship-drivenand enjoy talking with and reaching out to clients
- You can work in an independent manner whilst having a collaborative mindset,striving to work with the team.
