Mission

At IT Marketed area, you will have the responsibility to lead the Support of software products installed in hospitals and healthcare institutions, that are commercialized through distributors. Our products support different domains, like patient treatments healthcare platforms, pharmacy information systems (PHIS, CPOE, eMAR), hospital compounding, hospital medication purchasing, hospital medication logistics, regional blood bank logistics and diagnostics.

This opportunity implies being part of a multi-disciplinary team, focused in complex problem-solving capabilities and following AAMI TIR-45 Agile guidelines. The products range is from embedded software products in devices to large high-availability software products for hospitals, being non-regulated products and medical devices under ISO13485 certification.

What your responsibilities will be

The responsibilities related to the Distributor of the product (internal Grifols companies or external 3rd party distributors) are:

• Related to distributor Technical Service:
  • Manage product Incidents and escalate as Problems to development when needed.
  • Act as a product expert to solve questions. Understand many product functional customer use cases and provide valuable advice to distributors.
  • Collaborate in distributor training.
  • Collaborate in customer visits when needed for specific support needs.
  • Collaborate in hypercare of new releases deployment or roll outs.
• Related to distributor Sales:
  • Prepare environments for product demos. It will be a plus to collaborate in product demos depending of the skills.

The responsibilities related to the IT Marketed internal areas are:

• Actively monitor Incidents, looks at trends and notify to the Project Manager and Quality if needed (vigilance system). Collaborate in postmarket surveillance tasks.
• Close collaboration with Development:
  • Receive Problems responses from development and manage Incidents with distributors.
  • Participate in design reviews and risk analysis.
  • Acts as an SME providing valuable feedback to have a product with minimum support needs, avoid design issues which can led to incidents and provide customer feedback to scenarios planned.
  • Review the installation manuals and procedures.

Who you are

• Technical (e.g. Information technologies) or Healthcare (e.g. Pharmacy) university degree.
• Analytical skills, with functional and technical background.
• Coordinating support teams skills to achieve best results.
• Java web architecture (Tomcat) and database environments (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQLServer).
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure, servers and web application deployment models. Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Desirable experience in regulated medical environments and/or healthcare circuits.
• Comfortable with customer dialogue, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Castellano and English fluency (at least high B2), enough to work on an international environment.
