What You Can Expect
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager would be responsible for the financial review and analytical support to Zimmer Biomet in core planning, forecasting, projections and budgeting.
You would provide timely financial information and support for business partners to make fact-based decisions of spend that drive and support the business.
Responsible for providing plan adjustments, strategic decision support and value added insights to business leaders within a business unit and / or country.
As a Leader of the FP&A team you would serve as a key partner with the Controllership and FP&A functions to set the overall financial strategy, monitor / drive financial performance and maintain an effective internal controller environment.
How You'll Create Impact
- Leads development and maintenance of planning & reporting templates, standards, processes
- Generate & validate standard management reports with commentary
- Completes variance commentary for reports (i.e., explaining the why behind variances) based on discussion with business leaders
- Leads generation of ad-hoc reporting and data requests from the business
- Continuously validate initial planning targets with business partnering
- Reviews initial planning targets with business and aligns on adjustments based on business trends and local knowledge
- Generate and review planning baselines with business and overlays adjustments based on business trends and local knowledge
- Lead completion of plan consolidations and restatements
- Communicate long-range planning guidance with business partnering
- Leads development of planning scenario models
- Develop and generate of business development models / templates
- Share expertise internally by leading team learning sessions for capability development
- Drives process excellence and standardization across reporting and planning topics
- Owns development and governance of reporting / planning templates, standards and processes
- Continuously evaluates and shares business reporting / planning needs with FP&A
What Makes You Stand Out
Advanced understanding across all planning processes (AOP and Projections) and expertise / mastery over select planning accounts / processes (e.
g., Sales, COGs, Opex, Workforce)
- Coming from large multinational ideally (5bn or more), able to work in matrix environments, some past transformational experience
- Experience taking ownership of standard reporting processes and global reporting standards
- Strong understanding of market landscape in order to support business leaders in achieving in achieving short- and long-term objectives
- Encourages teams to think differently whilst showing critic
- Actively looks for avenues of process improvement and optimization
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills

Your Background
- Advanced understanding of financial data systems (i.e., data source systems), data standards
- B.S. in Accounting / Finance or related field required
- Significant experience in an analyst or accounting role
- Experience in FMCG / PHARMA / MEDTECH companies
- MBA / CFA preferred
