As an SQL Developer specializing in MS SQL Server, Power BI, and Analysis Services, your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities
Responsabilities:
Database Development and Management :
- Design and Develop : Create, modify, and maintain SQL databases. Use structured query language (SQL) to design and optimize database tables.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize database performance by fine-tuning queries, indexing, and query execution plans.
- Stored Procedures and Functions : Develop complex functions and stored procedures to handle data manipulation tasks.
- Power BI Integration :
- Connectivity : Collaborate with business intelligence (BI) teams to connect SQL databases with Power BI.
- Data Exploration : Write SQL queries to explore and analyze data within Power BI.
- Dashboard Creation : Design and create dashboards using Power BI to visualize key business insights.
Analysis Services (SAAS):
- Tabular Model Development : Build and maintain tabular models in SSAS.
- Role-Based Security : Configure roles within SSAS to manage data access.
- Integration with POWER BI: Understand how SSAS integrates with Power BI workspaces 1.
Collaboration and Troubleshooting :
- Business Requirements : Work closely with business analysts to understand functional requirements.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting : Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Effective SQL Queries : Write efficient SQL queries that perform well even against large tables.
Database Administration :
- Server Configuration : Configure, deploy, and maintain SQL Server instances.
- Security and Access Control : Implement security protocols and manage user access.
- Data Extraction and Reporting : Develop reports using SQL and Power BI.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Hybrid scheme in Granada, you can work with your great work team!
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server development, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Familiarity with Analysis Services (SSAS) , particularly tabular model development and role-based security.
