PHARMA SOURCING MANAGER CMO'S
BARCELONA
Important pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Pharma Sourcing Manager CMO'S , responsible for leading the Global Pharma Strategic Sourcing category of Bulk and FDFs, taking care of, among other tasks and not limited to, searching and selecting alternative CMOs (leading the tendering), following up the market situation, negotiation of prices and conditions of the commercial products as well as the new prices and conditions resulting from a new transfer
Roles
- Responsible for market screening and CMO selection, leading the tendering process for the introduction of any new formulator CMO
- Leading the negotiations of unit prices and conditions with the CMOs that produce pharmaceutical products (for all the countries), Bulks and FDF
- In charge of contract negotiation and contract coordination with the suppliers and internal stakeholders until its signature, and managing the contract lifecycle afterwards
- In charge of the life Cycle of the Supply Agreements
- Building and keeping a strong business relationship with our suppliers of bulk and FDF
- Work closely with Finance Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) for updating and keeping track of the COGs of the products, making sure that Commercial teams are well informed about it whenever there is a price change in any o products
- Follow up the global market of the different raw materials in order to anticipate potential price increase and identify potential price improvements
- Collaborating with the different teams of the company with the annual budget elaboration as well as the 5 years strategic plan
- Participating in global Cross Functional meetings for aligning priorities
- Attending to fairs related to the Pharmaceutical Business (CPhI, etc…) as well as commercial visits to current/new CMOs facilities (willing to travel 30-40% around Europe)
- Look proactively new ways to reduce the COGs, applying different procurement tools/levers
- Promoting the Quality and Procurement guidelines that applies (GMPs, Procurement SOPs, etc…), general functional procedures as well as the management systems of EHS, legal and Compliance. At the same time, making sure that the internal confidential information is handled in the proper manner
Requirements
- Bachelor degree (or superior training) in Life Science
- English (as per CEFR): C1/C2
- Experience with GMPs and Regulatory Affairs environments
- 5-7 years experience in Procurement and/or Commercial position negotiating FDF and bulk.
- 5-7 years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in an international environment
- Experience working in a matrix system organization
