Position and Responsibilities
Reporting to the lead planner, the maintenance planner is committed to helping the Port Hope conversion facility reach reliability excellence. You will be responsible for the planning and/or scheduling of labour, parts, services and materials of site maintenance activities and occasionally project work. You will work closely with the maintenance supervisors, contractors when applicable, and various departments to ensure that work minimizes impact to production activities and maximizes equipment and resource availability and efficiency.
Occupying a key role within the Work Management processes that support Operational Reliability, your responsibilities will include performing a follow up of completed work and consulting with the operations and trades personnel to modify and correct any plans for future work. This includes developing and modifying bills of materials in the computerized maintenance management system. You will also be responsible for developing standard job plans for repetitive work orders.Education and Qualifications
You have excellent communication skills, can work with minimal direction within a multi-discipline team, provide strong leadership, display initiative and are results-oriented.
