NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained by C2X to recruit a PPA Manager to be based in Spain, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

Reporting directly to the CCO, the PP Manager is responsible for: •Devising/implementing strategies, including market research, for power procurement to facilitate a commercially/technically optimized flow of power for efficient hydrogen production and other power consuming activities within green fuel production process in close collaboration, notably, with Business Development & Project Development & Engineering functions •Structuring and negotiating i) “in-project” Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with entities or partners and ii) PPAs with 3rd parties, whilst ensuring that relevant certification requirements for end products can be met •Structuring and negotiating other power related agreements, e.g. distribution/transmission, wheeling or power storage contracts •Devising/implementing strategies and structuring/negotiating contracts to ensure that the value of “excess power”, i.e. power not used in production process, is optimized •Assisting the diligent shaping, preparation and presentation of internal decision memoranda to enable management to make informed business and investment decisions on power related matters on the basis of transparent data sets •Performing all relevant work line with agreed mandates and strategies, and with a view to optimizing project business cases, ensuring a healthy relationship between business risks and opportunities, and safeguarding best interests •Being a constructive and responsive face to partners that acts in accordance with company values and policies, when representing in negotiations with third-parties •Ensuring the collection of inputs from or participation of different functions within the company for negotiations with third-parties, whenever relevant or necessary •Support and be part of global project teams •Maintaining strong “no silo” working relationships within and across functions based on open information sharing and positive collaborationJob tags
