How to contribute to our vision

• Supports all Engineering activities by taking over predefined task, e.g. by preparation of documentations, determination and selection of standard material or maintenance of bills of material.
• May be specialized in a field of action and work independently on work packages in that field.
• The department designs, supports and improves the equipment and procedures used during end-of-line testing at all Gamesa Electric production sites, including those in Valencia, Madrid, India and China.
• The systems used are based on embedded Linux systems, Windows OS clients, and virtual machines and database servers and web services on the IT side. On the OT side, programmable controllers from various manufacturers are available, as well as all kinds of devices in the industrial field, especially electrical switchgear and sensors.
• The equipment manufactured in the plants ranges from control cabinets to power converters/inverters.
• Specification of the test procedures to be executed by the test technicians.
• Automation of processes.
• Meetings with clients to analyze detected deviations.
• Meetings with design engineers to address product changes.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

• University Degree/ Master´s Degree in the Engineering area
• Minimum 2 years of experience (in the industry sector)
• Excellent communication skills
• An open mind-set willing to join international environment and interested in joining an intercultural team
• Skills and competences on continuous improvement, initiative and proactivity, creativity, communication and dialogue, loyalty and integrity, responsibility, and commitment
