Job description

Our client is a manufacturer of market-leading medical aesthetic device technologies and is the world’s fastest-growing women’s health company. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking for a very structured, process-driven, organized Buyer to join their team in Barcelona.

This role will focus on the selection of materials within the product packages (such as jewellery, roller wraps, welcome letters, boxes, kimonos and etc.), as well as purchases for merchandising, events, marketing materials.

This role is accountable for creating and implementing a buying and inventory process for the business unit keeping it in line with the company’s global policies, whilst being responsible for the end-to-end buying process from taking requests from internal stakeholders to research and negotiations with potential suppliers.

Key responsibilities include:

Adhere to established policies and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of the supply chain, including executing accurate purchase forecasts for critical suppliers and initiating purchase orders for missing materials.

Understand and achieve leadership-defined objectives, such as timely monitoring of purchases and sales, lead time optimization, operational efficiency, output maximization, report generation, and other relevant targets.

Comply with departmental spending controls to adhere to budgetary guidelines within the designated period.

Utilize the ERP system appropriately and responsibly to facilitate effective business operations.

Provide information and support during internal or external audits conducted by the company.

Ensure strict adherence to established procedures throughout production, effectively identifying and controlling materials or products that fail to meet acceptance criteria to prevent unauthorized usage.

In order to be considered for this position candidates must closely match the following reference profile:

Experience with local and international procurement practices.

Proficiency in utilizing data sheets, word processors, presentation software, SAP, and design software.

Strong oral and written communication skills and proficiency in English.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
