Our client is a company that develops state-of-the-art gadgets for emergency and security applications, like search and rescue, maritime surveillance, firefighting or disaster relief. Lifeseeker, their flagship product, is an innovative airborne system, already deployed in many countries around the globe, which enables geolocating missing people through their mobile phones, using them as beacons.They are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager, one of the most exciting roles in tech companies, to be in charge of defining its products strategy.

FUNCTIONS

The Product Manager of our client will have to create value by defining products that solve important real-world problems. You must be a critical thinker and bring out the right questions to challenge the status quo. Every day is a continuous adventure to discover product success keys. You’ll be doing user and market research, designing value propositions, defining company's product strategy, and managing the product roadmap. Since you’ll be responsible for the product lifecycle, you´ll be at the centre of how our product gets conceived, planned and delivered, collaborating closely with the Product Owners, and the CTO as well as other team members involved in the design, development, and delivery of the products.Your main responsabilities:. Find out user and market needs• Product conceptualization• Define product strategy and product roadmap (aligned with the company goals)• Achieve product-market fit• Achieve product profitability and scalability• Manage product portfolio• Define product management processes• Maintain a customer-focus product development culture¿ What are we looking for?. University degree, ideally Telecommunications, Aeronautical, Electrical or Computer Science Engineering• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position• Proactive, enthusiastic and customer focused person• Be familiar with Customer Development and Lean Startup methodologies• Be strongly familiar with technology: our products are based on technological solutions, both HW and SW, so you should be able to understand the basis and its implications.• Knowledge and experience in technology, business, and user experience• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technical• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both technical and non- technical• Experience defining, managing, and prioritizing product requirements
