We are in search of a Live Ops Configuration Manager to join one of our development teams in Barcelona.
In this role, you will manage the actual Live Operations content we deliver to our players and help drive performance of a very popular game franchise that is growing year after year. If you want to participate in the future of Scopely, we would love to hear from you!
What you will do - Integrate all LiveOps content using the LiveOps asset pipelines and tools
- Configure the event and test it in the different environments
- Exploratory testing for combinations of configurable features and content
- Follow up on events to ensure testing needs are covered and release is successful
- Collaborate with QA PoC to coordinate with outsourced testing and improve processes
- Drive tracker improvements to adjust to evolving needs and new features/experiments
- Monitor the launch and end of events in European time, making sure they perform as expected, and players receive the intended user experience and rewards
- Understand, report and drive resolution of content/configuration-related live issues
- Collaborate with all relevant functional areas on our team
- Identify config needs and coordinate with other departments
- Propose and drive process improvements, tools and systems that allow for the Live Ops team to run more efficiently
- Be aware of plans visibility and LO calendar execution for upcoming events and follow up with Performance about relevant items to ensure
- Mentor, train and support more junior members of the team
- Coordinate and collaborate with team members to ensure needs are covered and potential issues are prevented, keeping the team lead up to date and flagging risks or issues
- On call support
What We're Looking For
- Experience with configuring or testing software
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, running live ops, and have the drive to solve problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proactivity to help improve our processes and tools
- Outstanding organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to focus on your task at hand
