Job description

We are looking for outstanding people to join our team, and currently seek to incorporate engineers specialized in industrial networks infrastructure for our Spanish team. In this role, you will join a well-structured team, working in close interaction with our global network.

We work as an integrated company, in close and direct interaction with our global office network. We are currently implementing projects in Spain and other geographies, i.e. Europe, Latin America, i.a.

In enhancing our services and continued growth, we are seeking talented and motivated engineers to incorporate to our E/I/A department.

You will work out of our San Sebastian office ; other locations or eventually remote working could be an alternative that could be discussed. While on assignment, you will occasionally travel to project sites or client meetings and join over 3500 experts spread across many offices in Europe, Middle East, Asia and the Americas who regularly collaborate across offices to deliver projects.

Qualifications

Below we describe the activities and requirements for the position:

• A degree in Industrial Engineer, Telecommunication Engineering, Electric/electonic Engineering or analogous , which support your experience in process industries.
• You will be part of a multidisciplinary team , where you will oversee the development of process diagrams, balances, implementations, specification, optimising industrial processes, equipment procurement, i.a.
• Some of our assignments require travelling.
• Our projects are national and international, lasting from short-term assignments to over one-year projects.
• Excellent team working and leadership . Most of the work we do requires team working and you will be responsible for the delivery of the whole team. This could involve planning the work, supporting the team, anticipating challenges, leading by example, and accountability towards the client (with more Senior support when required).
• Being fluent in Spanish and English. On one hand, many of our clients are in Spanish and non-Spanish speaking countries, and on the other hand our work requires day-to-day collaboration – in English – with other AFRY offices. French language is an interesting advantage.
• Experience in :
  • IT infrastructure and data networks engineering instructions and standards.
  • Network active components including WLAN, Firewall and time reference sources systems
  • Security and video control system
  • Generic cabling system and installation
  • Data Network physical infrastructure
  • Physical security design (for data network based solutions)
  • LAN telephony design
