OpenEye is seeking a Vice President of International Sales to join our growing team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic sales executive with a proven track record of achieving exceptional results, fostering relationships with clients, and establishing successful global sales operations. Job SummaryAs the VP of International Sales you will be responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies to increase our international market share, leading our global sales team, and promoting OpenEye’s brand and software worldwide. OpenEye currently has sales team members located in Australia, Colombia, and the United Kingdom. Ideally, this VP of International Sales will be based in Europe. Role and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute international sales strategies, targeting new markets and opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand OpenEye’s global presence. Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing global sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets, and provide exceptional customer service. Collaborate with internal departments (Marketing, Product Development, etc. ) to develop comprehensive sales and marketing plans for international markets. Analyze market trends and competition to identify and prioritize profitable growth opportunities, and evaluate and adjust strategies accordingly. Establish and maintain strong relationships with global clients, distributors, and channel partners. Attend international trade shows, conferences, and networking events, acting as the face of the company and presenting OpenEye’s vision and products to a global audience. Regularly review sales performance reports and account updates, proactively identifying issues and recommending improvements to enhance overall sales effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all international regulations, maintaining a thorough understanding of export requirements, certifications, and standards. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field requiredMaster’s degree preferredMinimum 10years of experience in a senior sales management role, with a focus on international sales (preferably at a SaaS company)Experience in SaaS is preferredTech-savvy, proficient in CRM and sales management platforms, as well as the ability to learn and understand the technical details of our cloud-based solution. Strong leadership skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and successfully managing a global sales team. Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in multiple languages being a definite asset. Solid understanding of SaaS business models, international sales techniques and trends, along with a comprehensive knowledge of various regional markets and cultural differences. Willingness and ability to frequently travel internationally and maintain a flexible work schedule.
