#About the Job
As a Business Development Manager - Spain, you'll be at the helm of driving growth for Ironhack's Talent and Training Services in Spain. You're the link that bridges the goals of our talented students, tech-savvy individuals seeking their first gig in the tech sphere, with the objectives of our partners and clients eager to build and nurture their emerging talent pool.
And in doing so, you'll personally experience the satisfaction of making a true positive impact on everyone you help start a new path.
This role is one of the most thrilling gigs within the B2B team. Every collaboration you ignite means dozens of young minds get the chance to gain cutting-edge digital skills, knowing that upon completion, a tech job is guaranteed.
To pull this off, you'll need to collaborate across all Ironhack departments: from working alongside our Education squad, curating learning paths that ensure acquiring skills for success in their new roles, to partnering with the marketing crew to craft inspiring campaigns. You'll sync up with colleagues rolling out similar services in the US, Europe, and Latin America, and most crucially, team up with our delivery squad—the ones who make the magic happen.
#Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets
- Continuously develop a robust sales pipeline through individual outreach, collaborating with your sales development representative, and managing inbound prospects
- Develop and execute the business development and growth strategy within the Talent Services and Training Services domains.
- Own and grow a targeted account list
- Analyze and comprehend clients' needs, generate business opportunities, prepare and present proposals, and adeptly close sales.
- Manage the customer buying journey from start to finish, providing guidance and subject matter expertise to prospective customers
- Cultivate and enhance enduring, trustworthy commercial relationships.
- Represent Ironhack at technology and talent-related events and conferences, collaborating with the marketing team to generate thought leadership content for media inquiries.
- Keep CRM up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so we can learn more about our business and our sales process.
#Must haves
- 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development with a minimum of 2 years selling into the Enterprise segment in Spain
- A proven track record of developing a greenfield territory, executing across the full sales cycle, and adding net new logos
- Proven ability to build and maintain enduring, trustworthy commercial relationships
- Ability to analyze and understand clients' needs, generating solutions that adapt to those needs
- Experience in cross-functional teams to ensure Customer Success and Satisfaction
- Familiarity with the technology sector and understanding of talent-related trends and needs
- Desire to work for a fast-paced startup and take on increasing levels of responsibility
- Fluent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Experience in a Technical consulting firm is a plus
