The Role:
We are looking for talented Devops specialist to join one our development teams. In this role you will work hand to hand with product, developers on the booking system of the biggest airline by traffic in Europe, a massive challenge! Part of your duties will be .
- Propose new solutions with the last techonologies/architecture on the market.
- Monitor and follow-up issues that appear on the main Ryanair platform endpoints affecting worldwide traffic.
- Build and maintain platforms to be resilience and secure to traffic peaks and different traffic patterns.
How is working on Ryanair labs as Devops Engineer
- Top class squad: During the interviewing process and in your day to day you will work closely with top talent, both on your team, in other teams as Mobile and Front and also on business.
- You will work with a state of art technical stack including: Java, Go, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring projects, AWS, AWS services (f.e. DynamoDB, EC2, Lambda, Api Gateway, RDS, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, Event Brigde), Couchbase, MySQL, Redis, Ansible, Docker, New Relic.
- You will support, develop and maintain systems on the top 1 airline in Europe, 40M of daily visit and thousands of bookings are done in a regular day. Our systems needs to be resilient, secure and scalable to the traffic peaks. Plus, you will also manage real time system used by Ryanair to give service to the customers.
Requirements
Experience Required:
- AWS Cloud experience is a must for this position.
- A real experience setting and maintaining an Infrastructure as a Code CI-CD system with pipelines is out of discussion.
- You can demonstrate us your skills with one or more scripting languages e.g Bash, Python, Groovy, Ruby …
- Experience in scalable distributed systems with high volume and strict SLAs
- Exposure to serverless architecture (e.g. Go lang) using event driven approach will be a plus
- You will be part of a development team, experience as developer or in a similar environment is a plus, communication is really important on this position.
- Strong familiarity with source code repositories and management tools including, e.g. Git, Bitbucket / Stash, GitLab, GitHub.
- Understanding of Networking , DNS and domain management core concepts
- Knowledge of Linux stack, including configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting.
