Role Summary
This position’s primary purpose is to optimize existing operations across the GenesisCare USA urology and surgical subspecialists to drive sustainable growth and best practice across all oncology practice groups.
Key areas for the role:
Drive Operational Excellence & Leadership
Continuous Improvement & Best Practice Standardization – Develop & execute strategies for growth, optimal performance and to improve collections
Leads Urology & Surgical Oncology innovation, develop and nurture partnerships and supports new service delivery
Support urology channel business development
Reporting lines:
Directly reporting to the VP of Clinical Services and Operations
Your key responsibilities:
Operational Excellence & Leadership
Develops best practice from within and outside the network to ensure continual improvement of the base operating standard.
Identifying and remedying unexplained or unwarranted variation in service delivery, patient experience or clinical outcomes
Identifying and implementing best-in-class target operating models, whether drawn from within GC’s US network or global best practice
As a trusted leader, develop strategies that shape the operational direction, achieve the organization’s performance goals, and deliver outstanding value for our partners, and most importantly superior care for our patients that achieves the best possible life outcomes
Work in partnership with our Chief Medical Officer and associated clinical leaders to support and execute our operating model in line with clinical best practice.
Responsible for the implementation and successful completion of operational excellence deliverables aligned to the GenesisCare business plan
Sets the vision and provides leadership and direction for national operational practice groups, which drives collaboration, consistency and best practice nationally
Lead the design and implementation of efficient & effective workflow and best practice to ensure Urology and Surgical teams are effective and consistent across the network
Collaborate with the Leadership team to set goals, clearly define operations, and develop appropriate performance standards, metrics and reporting tools
Effectively communicates the vision, strategy and priorities across the business to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed
Continuous Improvement & Best Practice
You will be a leader and innovator of progressive and brave ideas and will consider the best interests and strategic direction when evaluating decisions and implementing new approaches
In partnership with Quality & Transformation and other key partners across the network, lead and inspire continuous improvement across all areas of our practice, to reduce costs, increase accuracy and efficiency, and improve internal and external customer satisfaction
Oversee the implementation of new business processes and works closely with Division Executives to implement best practice designed to support and maintain superior service delivery to patients and a positive and effective working environment for our teams.
Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or similar discipline
Post Graduate qualifications preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar senior leadership role, in similar sized organisation, covering Urology and or Surgical Ocology
Strong financial skills and commercial acumen
Ability to understand, direct and communicate complex data analysis and reporting
Demonstrated acumen in people and process change management
Proven project management experience

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capability
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships
Demonstrated experience in presenting to both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to travel up to 50%
