AXA XL Risk Consulting is looking for a qualified Property Risk Account Consultant, as a member of the APAC & Europe Business Unit. Based in Madrid, a s an Account Consultant you will work closely with the Property Underwriters to manage the risk consulting at an account management level. You will support the Underwriters on risk selection, conduct desktop reviews of surveys completed by the Field Engineering team and external providers, educate on awareness of risks and complete annual account stewardship reviews.

Our clients operate in different facilities in a variety of locations and in many geographies.At AXA XL we help them create a comprehensive overview of the risks they’re facing, with details on exposures and constraints they might encounter locally. We're there to identify how these risks fit into their corporate risk management strategy and support them to determine and prioritize investments needed to control these risks.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

· Manage the relationship with clients - unbundled or lead accounts - and be the main contact point for them.

· Be responsible for risk improvement by clients through proactive recommendation monitoring.

· In charge of the contract life cycle for a client (budget, contracts, offers, meetings, stewardship meetings, etc.)

· Develop and monitor Service Level Agreements with clients for their accounts to ensure quality of services delivered to them.

· Responsible for the profitability of client accounts.

· Work closely with local Underwriters, Claims and Sales teams (CDL’s) to secure business thorough assessment of new/renewed clients.

· Assist country leaders in business development.

· Collaborate with all Risk Consulting Lines of Business (LoBs).

· Work a minimum of 80% of time on Account Engineering tasks and up to a maximum of 20 % of time on surveys

You will report to Risk Consulting Country manager, Iberia.

We are looking for a new team member with the following skills:

· Knowledge of NFPA codes and FM data sheets

· B.S. in Engineering (or equivalent) required.

· Spanish and English speaking, able to communicate and work in both languages. (other languages will be considered a plus)

· Experience of assessing property risk and risk surveys in connection with advising an underwriting unit is highly beneficial.

· Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Proficient presentation skills, including written and verbal.

· Ability to summarize large amounts of information and deliver against deadlines.

· Knowledge of functionality of IT systems

· Skilled in time management and work techniques

· Professional designations including Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and/or Professional Engineer (PE) in Fire Protection desirable.
