As a Construction Site Manager, build, develop and lead a team of project/construction managers and take the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and handing over to Operations out a Portfolio of Onshore Renewable Construction Projects throughout Europe ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, in a timely and cost-effective manner and to a high standard in line with SSE's framework.

•Educated to degree level in Engineering – Ideally - Electrical – other degrees such as or Civil & Mining & Telecoms are adequate .

•Experience in construction and commissioning large Renewable Energy Projects, with a proven track record in Wind and, ideally Solar PV – From 5 to 10 years of experience.

•Significant knowledge of Project Management processes and practices, including business case, cost, quality, programme, and Risk•Significant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and practices.•Good knowledge of construction planning managemen

•Demonstrates significant project management expertise and understanding of major projects delivery e.g. project definition and set up, planning, cost, risk, quality and commercial management.•Demonstrates significant understanding and experience of consolidated planning for capital projects.•Ability to lead project teams and key stakeholders to ensure robust project performance.•Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation and to key stakeholders out with the organisation.•Highly valuable, Membership of/or working towards membership of a recognised Project Management body.
