Scopely is looking for a Manager , Global Experience & Engagement to join our Global Experience & Engagement Team based in the Barcelona hub on a hybrid basis, working from our hub ideally 3-4 days a week.

This role will report to the Director, Global Experience & Engagement to continually evolve Scopely's global employee experience. Key initiatives include Scopely's annual Celebration Day, Scopelean of the Year Awards and other company-wide, in-person events, requiring production and live event experience. Partner on design, develop, and implementation of an employee experience strategy determined by the Director, which delivers impactful and new initiatives that inform, engage, and inspire Scopely employees.Additionally many remote and virtual programs such as global and local onboarding, employee recognition, global swag and more are within the scope of this role.
Ongoing development and enhancement of the remote employee experience will fall within this position, collaborating with localized Experience & Engagement representatives across the company to build a One Scopely virtual and in-person experience to ensure as the company evolves the full range of employee experiences is robust and well executed. This includes planning and executing virtual employee programming and experiences.
The Lead Experience & Engagement Partner will build consistency and communication across all corporate and game teams working with Communications, DE&I, Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Facilities, People Solutions and others cross functionally.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage ongoing projects:
- Oversees all stages of event planning and management from ideation to completion (including rfp's, budgeting, vendor management, etc.) of key Experience & Engagement global initiatives (i.e. such as onboarding, recognition, swag) ensuring each event aligns with the stakeholders' requirements and expectations.
- Live events across multiple countries, with a focus on the EMEA region including Scopely Celebration Day, Family Day, game launches and celebrations, team on-sites (when applicable) and additional emerging events.
- Highly produced live-streamed Scopelean of the Year Awards and pre-recorded segments including sizzle videos.
- Manage technical online delivery of live virtual events and replays
- Content development, to provide a global reach for programming
- Reporting on outcomes by creating feedback surveys combined with event specifics, participant data, costs, and other year-over-year information for comprehensive recaps.
- Run the bi-weekly meetings for Global Experience & Engagement with local Experience & Engagement team members and key additional stakeholders, including agenda management.
- Maintain oversight of the Global Experience & Engagement email to provide timely answers to experience and engagement related issues from across the organization, acting as a central point of contact for culture initiatives, or to route people to the appropriate team if outside of this team's scope of work.
- Draft and develop global communications in partnership with key stakeholders and internal comms
- Work with the Global Experience & Engagement Specialist to complete legal contracts, process invoices, track budgets and manage vendor relationships
- Work on ad-hoc projects as needed
What We're Looking For
- 5-7 years working on in-person and virtual events, ideally internally focused on employee experience
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
- Always looking ahead to what is needed next to create a frictionless employee experience, looking for ways to iterate to greatness
- Experience driving the development and execution of programs like: Employee Engagement, Corporate Events - In-person, virtual and hybrid, Onboarding, Corporate Communications, Cultural Awareness & Diversity in support of the DE&I Team, Culture Change Management, Employee Wellness, Organizational Culture
- Familiar in utilizing project and task management systems to organize, track, and manage event-related tasks effectively. This includes setting major milestones, assigning responsibilities, allocating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of all event components.
- While formal project management training is not a prerequisite, a demonstrated ability to leverage these tools to prevent tasks from falling through the cracks is essential.
- Experience with tools such as Asana, Smartsheets, Trello, or similar software for PM or task management, which includes experience using Excel in a similar way.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across a global audience
- Ability to design and develop to email templates, event fliers, slide decks, and more
