Essential FunctionsThe goal of this position is to raise awareness and accomplish sales of the ZOLL Wearable Cardioverter Defibrillator (WCD) LifeVest as a bridging tool for patients at risk of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) mainly in the Madrid & Castilla y León Regions. Additionally, you will support and grow the customer base to increase the number of prescriptions and revenue. A main goal will be to ensure that patients are fit and trained with the device as soon as possible. The primary discipline of your work and customer base is in the Cardiology, Interventional cardiology, Heart Failure and Electrophysiology fields, including emergency, resuscitative and intensive care. Your main responsibilities include:Increase awareness and sales in your territory by visiting hospitals and speaking to physicians about the risk of SCA to promote prescriptions (new and existing customer base)Develop and provide upon request an action plan for targeting new customers where awareness is lowCreate a trustful and long-lasting network of potential prescribersPlanning and execution of product trainings and introductions for physicians and hospital staffReporting of activities and progress in regular intervalsPatient support services including patient fittings and technical support hotlineMonitoring of patients in an online network for discussion with physiciansParticipate, network and advertise on relevant national as well as international Cardiology conferences as necessaryParticipation in product and sales training in preparation for your sales and marketing activitiesSupport in therapy development in other regions across Spain, when and where needed, is also expected for this role. Close collaboration with Administration, Sales and Marketing Dept. Required/Preferred Education and ExperienceWe request the following from the applicant:Bachelor or graduate in health sciencesAt least 5 years of sales experience in the medical device industryDirect prior experience in the Cardiology, Interventional cardiology or Electrophysiology is a mustExperience with patient education, telemonitoring and/or adherence management is a plusGood command in both written and spoken EnglishMotivated, independent, proactive, respectful, team oriented with well-developed interpersonal skills both internally with co-workers and externally with customers and business partnersGoal-oriented thinking with a strong hands-on mentality and persistent approachApplicant must be prepared to travel frequently, as well as for a hybrid remote working environmentResidence in MadridZOLL is a fast-growing company that operates in more than 140 countries around the world.
