The team

The Center of Excellence at Hitachi Vantara is a worldwide entity that serves as a platform for presenting our products and solutions to customers and partners.

These engagements involve demonstrations, proof of concepts, lab facilities, and video content. Our team collaborates closely with sales, technical sales, and product management, facilitating the exchange of insights into customer trends, experiences, and requirements to enhance the alignment of our products and solutions.

What you will do

• An ability to think creatively and work consistently to identify, develop and close opportunities within new or prospect customers and you’ll be able to share specific examples to illustrate where and how you have done this.
• An ability to build virtual teams around you to create and deliver innovative solutions.
• Build and configure Hitachi hardware platforms for Proof of Concepts (PoCs), ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Host customer and partner demonstrations to showcase Hitachi product features, capabilities, and performance. Effectively communicate the value and benefits of our solutions.
• Maintain and support internal solution portfolios' hardware requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure hardware availability and compatibility.
• Create and collaborate on internal and external video content, such as product demonstrations, feature, and functionality materials, to enhance product awareness and enable effective knowledge sharing.
• Operate and collaborate within a high-performance team, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and best practices.

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years’ experience in IT industry solutions, such as Hitachi Block, File, Object, Converged, Hyper Converged, and Cloud technologies products.
• Strong knowledge of Virtualization / VMware, Containers, Business Continuity, Data Protection, SAN, LAN / WAN Concepts and Architectures desired.
• Hands-on or certified with at least two of the major HyperScales like AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
• Personable, Persuasive and Articulate Able to represent Hitachi Vantara positively to customers and partners, build positive relationships of influence, and ability to communicate well (written and verbally)
• College degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• A deep understanding of technology and solution offerings, Hitachi Vantara and IT as a whole.
• Assertive self-starter with the ability to manage work in a dynamic and competitive environment to drive demand for CoE utilization and value add.
