Job DescriptionIn a nutshellYou will join an international crew to work on the design, improvement, and optimization of recently deployed segregated IT User Zones and Application Availability Groups. Your role will involve supporting Europe based Network Teams through high networking and network security skills. Where will you be based and what business will you support? Based in Barcelona, as a member of the IT Infrastructure Architecture & Automation Team, you will support our Food, Feed & Environment Testing Europe lines. How can you help us? You will :- Design, plan and implement network IT Infrastructure for Azure Landing Zone and physical sites- Create, lead or contribute to creation of Blueprints, Diagrams, Standards, and Instructions- Maintain an active relationship with key Network Vendors- Propose and deliver solutions that best meet the business needs in terms of security, cost, and bandwidth. - Work close with Server, Cloud, Application engineers and architects do deliver the IT Infrastructure as wider project. Act based on the end-to-end view of the infrastructure- Run Hands-on proof of concept activities of the proposed solutions- Support Network Operation Teams in most complex outage troubleshooting- Own, develop and maintain the network lab together with network teams- Document the solutions delivered, encourage others for high quality doWhat can we do for you? This position will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to definition and implementation our Network strategy within European businesses, among other impactful and core business projects. QualificationsAre you our kind of extraordinary? You have a minimum of 8 years of strong experience in networking and :- A proven track of delivered design portfolio on enterprise, campus and site level;- Strong Knowledge of Fortinet Stack FortiGate, FortiSwitch, SSL VPN, SDWAN, FortiAP, FortiManager;- Familiarity with Next Generation Firewalls (Checkpoint);- Familiarity with CISCO switches;- Experience with Cloud concepts and networking configuration incloud;- Network infrastructure design and migration experience;- Hands-on experience in maintaining and troubleshooting network in Enterprise company;- Excellent command of written and spoken English;- Strong communication & presentation skills to communicate with technical teams and management of all levels;- Ability to communicate in non-technical business language explaining complex things in simple manner;- Experience in data centre network management;- Proficiency in various protocols : TCP / IP, SNMP, SMTP, iBGP, 802. 1Q, STP, SSLVPN;- A collaborative team player mindset and the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams while having good fun. What else should I know? The following skills are a plus :- Familiarity FortiAnalyzer;- Knowledge of static routing;- Cisco CCNP-level certification;- Advanced Fortinet certifications / training (NSE5, NSE7);- A proven track record of designing and implementing LAN / WAN / SD-WAN network infrastructure during acquisitions, transitions, and enterprise-level delivery;- Experience with protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and Understanding of VOIP (Voice over IP) technologies;- Proficiency in Quality of Service (QoS) implementation;- Experience in network monitoring;- Knowledge of load balancing techniques;- Previous experience in complex network migrations;- Expertise in Cloud Networking, particularly in Azure;Additional InformationWhat can we offer you? - A competitive salary package , including bonus and benefits;- Extensive on-the-job coaching and training opportunities ;- A hybrid working setup ;- Challenges within a multi-cultural and cross-regional team as part of the international and fast-growing Eurofins organization;- A dynamic working environment with a good team spirit where personal development and growth are highly encouraged.
