Do you have a flare for leading commercial strategy and creating initiatives to improve revenue growth? We are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer for this all-encompassing communication-focused role.
You should have a proven track record within the travel & tourism industry, with confidence in optimising advertising strategies;
collaborating, and planning successful marketing campaigns to reach untapped markets. Key details on the role can be found below.
Key responsibilities include :
- Lead the Sales & Marketing teams, driving the team to achieve targets and maintain high occupancy.
- Driving the sales strategy, including the formulation of a mission statement.
- Planning marketing campaigns in high and low seasons; for both existing and untapped markets.
- Devising and implementing promotional strategy.
- Defining and monitoring sales metrics, and analysing sales and customer demographics.
- Support technical teams and receive reports on product development to assess value creation.
- Building collaborative relationships with the CFO, management of our 3 different sales offices, creative teams, branding consultants, and advertising agencies towards strategic excellence.
- Monitoring customer service, complaints, product liability, and market trends to provide insight.
About You :
- A passionate Sales & Marketing leader who has a proven track record within PR and communications.
- Prior experience within the Travel & Tourism industry, particularly in the northern European leisure market.
- Demonstrable experience of quality-driven commercial excellence.
- A mix of hands-on leadership style with a pragmatic approach when it is advantageous to be strategic in setting the overall vision.
- Collaborative communication skills with a passion for developing teams.
- Fluent in English (being fluent in Spanish would be a plus).
