Multiverse is a well-funded and fast-growing deep-tech company founded in 2019. We are one of the few companies working with Quantum Computing and the biggest Quantum Software company in the EU.
We provide hyper-efficient software to companies wanting to gain an edge with quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Our product, Singularity, is a software platform that contains quantum and quantum-inspired algorithms developed and patented through proof-of-concept trials we have been performing for industrial and service clients. The Technical Engineering Director
● Reports directly to CTO
● Empowers his Managers to drive delivery on ambitious customer projects.
● Manages talent allocation.
● Curates a high-performance team. Takes charge of hiring and firing.
● Mentors his team and communicates the company vision.
● Communicates with other directors to find cross project synergies.
Required Qualifications
● Masters or PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or another STEM field.
● Proven expertise in advanced optimization methods, including linear programming,
nonlinear programming, and evolutionary algorithms.
● Minimum 3 years’ industry/corporate experience.
● Minimum 2 years' experience in Project Management for complex projects and or
programs.
● Minimum 2 years' proven experience in Python.
● Ability to work with a diverse team of people, both in-person and through online resources.
● Good communication skills in both English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
● 5+ years of Industry experience as an Optimization Engineer.
● Proven experience managing Managers.
● Must be able to develop and manage project plans.
● Must be able to manage risks and issues in a complex technical environment.
● Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organisation.
● Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
