Looking for seasoned financial professional with experience with Business Partner Support and Strategic Financial Support.
What a Senior Financial Analyst for Digital Services does:
- Leads New Service Introductions (“NSI’s”) for Digital Service Finance perspective
- Works closely with Business team supporting business strategy and transformation of the business towards Software/Service/SaaS business models
- Participates in LTP, Budget, Capital Optimizer, Business Cases, Project Management
- Uses KPI’s and SaaS metrics to provide business insights
- Drive business decisions based on metrics and data
- Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts and peers, especially in software and SaaS
- Provides the most complex financial analyses and displays deep understanding of business to convey best method for achieving objectives and “telling the story”
Main responsibilities are:
- Financial modeling in support of NSI’s; actively participating in NSI checkpoint meetings, providing feedback on projects with a view to advancing projects from development to commercialization; aligning across stakeholders such as Sales Operations, CFR, Global Trade, RAR, to ensure accurate, consistent application of policies and processes
- Works closely with Business Partners and Strategy team to incorporate business strategy into financial model/one-pagers and three- year plan
- Working with Strategy team to manage Investments and spending on Initiatives, as well as monitoring ROI
- Preparing financial analyses and monitoring Capital Optimizer projects, supporting quarterly governance process
- Reporting KPI’s, including providing key inputs; reporting outputs and providing insights to Business Partners; building SaaS P&L
- Driving transformation by building capabilities and tools to support SaaS business model
- Providing finance support for major initiatives such as internal controls, organization changes, M&A, integration, as needed
Education and Experience Required:
- First level university degree with a focus in finance and/or accounting; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred
- Big 4 experience in combination with 10+ years experience as a financial analyst
- Experienced in a variety of finance functions: public accounting, auditing, controllership, financial analysis, business planning; possessing an established HP network across these teams is a big plus
- Understanding sources of HP financial data, how to access it, and how to data mine it is a huge plus
- Experience working with cross functional teams; possess broad internal network, especially CFR, RAR, IMO, Markets Finance, Global Trade
- Experience developing, tracking, analyzing SaaS financial metrics
- Experience with business transformation, from hardware to software, or from perpetual to SaaS business model
- Operational experience in Software and/or SaaS business

- Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply professional judgment
