Responsibilities:
- Conception and Design of the Automatic Bodyshop Production Lines:
- Develop and design an automated production line for vehicle bodyshop.
- Utilize expertise to optimize layout ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Specification Definition for Suppliers:
- Collaborate with suppliers to define equipment and material specifications.
- Assess supplier proposals, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
- Operational Efficiency Coordination:
- Liaise with the efficiency team to optimize production line performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Cycle Time and Cost Definition:
- Establish optimal cycle times for production stages considering demand and capacity.
- Conduct cost analyses to ensure project alignment with budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering academic background.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Investment Experience:
- Ability to analyze and evaluate investments related to production line construction and operation.
- Knowledge of investment strategies ensuring a favorable return on investment.
- AutoCAD Proficiency:
- Proficient in AutoCAD for developing detailed production line layouts and modifications.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and collaborate with engineering professionals.
- Automotive Sector Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of automotive sector experience (in OEMs and/or TIER1s).
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and practices.
