  Job Purpose

Reporting directly to the Flight Dispatch Manager, their mission will be to follow the flights with AIMS and WSI Fusion, according to the existing and applicable legal guidelines.

Main Responsibilities - Tasks

• Help the Duty Manager.
• MVTS monitoring (all the flights must have departure and arrival data) and delay codes in case there is any delay.
• Send SMS incidents.
• Airport slots petition when necessary (ferry flights).
• Contact with ground operations services.
• Send the daily rotations report.
• To manage, in a proactive way, flight program through flights monitoring system maintenance AIMS.
• To notify delays and important events to all concerned parties, and.
• To coordinate with other stations in order to perform operations within punctual margins and inform them about delays, teams exchange, diversions, cancellation, etc.
• Keep track of the aircraft in flight using the WSI Fusion system.
• Flight Watch Officer (FOA) provides support, assistance and acts as backing to the captain or pilot in commands. The duty is not shared, it belongs only and exclusively to the captain or pilot in commands.

Education

• Operations Technician or equivalent grade.

Experience  

• Relevant experience will be valued, but not required.

Competencies  

• Proactive, teamwork and capability to work under pressure.
• Resolute, flexible and effective person.
• Ability to analyze with attention to detail and organized.

Languages  

• English.
• Spanish.

Other  

• Basic knowledge of IT.
• Knowledge in SMS and Compliance Monitoring.
• Shift pattern: 6 working days, 3 free days. 6.30h to 14.30h, 14.30h to 22.30h and 22.30h to 6.30h.
