Mission :

The IT SAP & Software Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of SAP and software projects within the organization from the IT department perspective. This role requires expertise in both SAP systems and general software development and implementation methodologies to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.

Your responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans outlining goals, tasks, resources, and timelines for SAP and software projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and consultants to achieve project objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of deliverables by establishing and enforcing project standards and best practices.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report variances to stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and their consultants and project managers that could be involved as part of the projects.
  • Change Management: Facilitate minimum change management processes to address evolving project requirements and stakeholder needs.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, status reports, and technical documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project processes and outcomes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

 

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:

Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall: PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum… Certifications in project management is a plus.

Advanced skills in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Project management tools: Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project…

Top project management skills of scoping, planning, execution, budget tracking, handover to Operations team and issuing status reports aligned with key stakeholders needs.

Spoken and written proficency in english is a must. 

Proven experience managing SAP and software projects, preferably in a corporate multinational environment is desirable.
