Encouraging inclusion at local levels and supporting a developing and robust diversity agenda globally, we’re fully committed to creating and maintaining an environment that celebrates and respects difference**The role**Working closely with local project leads, the Local Project Portfolio Manager role will be responsible for building, validating, and managing the integrated plan for all projects across all markets within a cluster. This includes strategic and key functional projects being deployed locally, as well as local projects. The role plays a pivotal role in cross-functional integration and project assurance by providing the local leadership team with a holistic and transparent view of all projects impacting a cluster, so that bottlenecks and risks to business plan delivery can be proactively identified and managed. The role will do this by managing the integrated local plan, reporting on, and mitigating key risks and issues, and managing resource capacity planning across all projects locally. The Local Project Portfolio Manager will need to demonstrate commercial awareness so that they can effectively manage the local project portfolio within the context of the local market environment. Throughout the year, the role will support the Local and Regional leadership teams to balance the deployment of change initiatives with business-as-usual delivery. Where there are concerns or conflicts and a decision on prioritisation is required, the Local Project Portfolio Manager will facilitate and lead resolution to enable effective prioritisation / rebalancing of the local project portfolio to ensure it is executable. **Please note this role will be based in Madrid; with a 50 / 50 hybrid working policy, therefore you will be required to be in the office 2-3 days per week. ****Principle accountabilities**- Using expert knowledge, set standards that will be followed for planning and management of projects across all markets in a Cluster- Shapes and balances the integrated deployment plan for all markets within a Cluster so that projects deliver their benefits and Must Win Battles are delivered effectively- Seeks clarity on priorities and critically challenges plans with the Cluster Leadership Team to ensure that the project portfolio is optimised and balanced to maximise business performance- Ensures the effective management of deployment stage-gates- Ensures that key project delivery and business disruption risks are understood and managed to provide transparent reporting- Provides input to the Global Deployment Lead on local priorities and constraints- Acts as the point of local validation for capacity plans for Programme and Portfolio Directors, ensuring discrete bottlenecks are identified and addressed- Understands and enables the resolution of resource capacity gaps with local P&C; BP- Provides coaching and mentoring to leaders on the implementation of deployment frameworks and best practices as required- Owns the project management lessons learned framework, interrogates root cause analysis, and drives local action plans- Where required, provides expertise on planning and governance to optimise Must Win Battle delivery**Essential qualifications, skills & experience**:- Business Transformation Project Management experience with proven experience of managing a variety of types of projects- Portfolio management experience & has been held accountable for the management and performance of a portfolio of projects including business case delivery, KPIs etc. - Experience of building, validating, and managing a integrated local plan for a variety of projects; as well as managing andreporting on the risks and issues- Experience of supporting Local and / or Regional leadership teams to balance the deployment of change initiatives (projects) with business-as-usual delivery. - Experience of managing resource capacity planning across a number of projects- A strong collaborator and communicator with all levels of stakeholder management-#J-18808-Ljbffr
