As part of the International Services and Customer Engineering (ISCE) department within Telefónica Global Solution, the Global Pricing Office´s (GPO) mandate is to drive efficiencies and digital ways of working throughout Telefónica Global Solutions via process automation, enabling of data-driven decision-making, and an agility mindset.
As a Pricing Analyst, the candidate will be involved in developing, managing, and upkeeping a set of Telefónica Global Solutions in-house pricing and business case tools for presales teams to underpin preparation of technical and commercial proposals. This role will require previous direct hands-on experience on areas such as: Agile methodology and frameworks; Tool development and support; Data engineering tools and techniques, Artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
HOW WILL YOUR DAY-TO-DAY LOOK LIKE?
In your day-to-day, you will be doing tasks such as:
- Managing, support and administration of the toolset in GPO’s remit to support preparation of technical and commercial proposals
- Identify key requirements for GPO’s toolset from technical, commercial and legal areas and, prioritize the roadmap for development of new features and functionalities.
- Ensuring the periodic update, maintenance, and optimization of the GPO’s toolset information repositories and databases through ingestion and ETL processes.
- Implementing APIs for presales processes integration both internal to Telefónica Global Solutions and external with Telefónica Global Solutions partners.
- Preparation of documentation for new functionalities and new/changed commercial processes deployed onto the GPO’s tools.
- Providing training sessions (Spanish and English) for other teams across Telefónica Global Solutions on GPO’s toolset and presales processes.
- Interfacing with IT teams (infrastructure; Networking; Security, etc.) for the correct working of the environments and platforms on which GPO’s tools are deployed/hosted.
WHAT DO WE LOOK FOR
- Bachelors in Computer Science / Telecommunications or, Business Degree with relevant experience in the Telecommunications industry. Desirable Master Degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligent.
- Demonstrate understanding of pricing concepts and techniques.
- Experience on supporting presales function, enabling presales and commercial processes. Demonstrating knowledge and previous experience working with Salesforce.com
- Experience in owning, managing, prioritizing a backlog of application functionalities and features, and managing end-to-end releases of applications.
- Experience working in an agile environment and methodologies.
- Experience in dealing with key technical, commercial and legal stakeholders (IT teams, process management, commercial teams, product management, fiscal and regulatory, etc.)
- Strong commercial insight on the telecommunication or network industry.
- At least four (4) years of working experience in developing and supporting applications and systems using technologies such as Python; VBA; Linux and Bash Language; MySQL; Hive; Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
- Proven experience in the application of Artificial Intelligence techniques, technologies and Machine Learning models, coupled with knowledge in data transformation and loading strategies for effective implementation of Machine Learning models.
- Advanced Data Analytics skills and hands-on knowledge of tools for data analysis and processing (i.e. Advanced Excel and Power Query, VBA, Power BI, SQL, R, Big Query, Jupyter Notebook, etc)
- Experience in APIs integration.
- Readiness to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, navigating continuous changes and working to deadlines.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, showing drive and energy, and capable to lead development initiatives.
- Ability to mentor and lead within the team.
- Demonstrating a humble curiosity, for technological and business aspects, coupled with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies and commercial concepts.
