Our Senior Software Engineers work in small development teams that act like mini software companies, balancing refactoring and new feature development, defining and presenting road maps quarterly, and fully participating in the fundamental aspects of the commercial software business, from maintainability and usability to competitive positioning. Your challenges and objectives:Achieve expert-level knowledge of our platform by understanding the complex interaction of a wide range of services and feature sets, from framework layer to end user experience. Incorporate into your work product several computer science disciplines, such as high availability and high performance system design, industry-leading security standards, and intuitive user interface design. Abstract customer feature requests in order to build a highly flexible platform which allows users to customize it through tailored configurations and UI options. Learn and collaborate with different teams while tackling complex technical challenges in a fun and encouraging working environment. Work with the product team on functional specifications of features (specs): interpret, analyze, and provide feedback. Design and write the code for the feature. Perform technical analysis of existing code and refactors to improve code quality. Review code from your peers in different teams. Promote and apply best practices during the entire development process, from the very early stages of technical analysis and design of solutions to the monitoring in production of your team’s code.
