Arxada is looking for an Operational Technology Security Engineer who will be a technical leader to support the implementation and integration of information security solutions through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration in the OT environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead the design, implementation, and testing of OT environment security solutions and services (including both production support and associated documentation)
• Ensure that OT systems are identified and categorized based on operational criticality and risk
• Conduct security reviews of core OT infrastructure and technical evaluations to identify coverage gaps in existing information security toolsets used to protect and defend the OT environment
• Work cross-functionally to effectively manage and develop security monitoring, sensor enrichment, and tuning solutions
• Establish OT environment vulnerability scanning processes and prioritize associated remediation efforts
• Establish and lead the OT network and application penetration testing program
• establish data loss prevention tools and techniques
• Secure configuration management (partnering with site-responsible OT team members on standardized security approaches)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field)
• 5 years’ experience with securing and conducting incident response in Operational Technology and related systems environments
• Experience aligning ICS with applicable risk management, cyber security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-, ISO 27XXX, ISA/IEC 62443, GxP)
• Familiar with Security in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS cloud environments
• Experience implementing security practices in CI/CD environments
• Ability of solving problems and analytical skills
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills (e.g., documenting technical runbooks/procedures) in English.
