Job description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a candidate to join our Battery Post-Mortem Analysis and Ageing research group as an Electrochemical Lab Technician. Our team is at the forefront of cutting-edge research in ageing, Post-Mortem and safety of Electrochemical Energy Storage device and we are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our ongoing projects.
Tasks:
- Conducting electrochemical experiments and tests to support ongoing research projects.
- Operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory equipment, including climate chamber, potentiostat (Biologic, Neware, Arbin and MACCOR), and EIS channels.
- Collaborating with researchers and scientists to design and execute experiments.
- Analyzing and interpreting experimental data accurately.
- Troubleshooting equipment and experimental issues as they arise.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and laboratory procedures.

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
The following will be highly valued:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in a research laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with electrochemistry evaluation.
