Responsibilities:
- Manage and support global transfer pricing compliance, including review of benchmarking studies and transfer pricing documentation reports prepared by outside advisors as well as gathering and synthesizing factual, functional, and financial information
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with mandatory contemporaneous transfer pricing requirements for the related entities globally (e.g., CbC notifications, Master Files, Local Files, TP disclosure forms, etc.)
- Provide support to implement, monitor, and maintain global arm’s length transfer pricing with respect to intercompany transactions, including tangible goods, services, licensing, financing, etc.
- Perform activities for operational transfer pricing processes including the analysis, maintenance, and monitoring of pricing for intercompany transactions, country-by-country reporting, global shared services allocations, year-end transfer pricing adjustments, etc.
- Collaborate with stakeholders globally, including local and global tax, accounting, FP&A, treasury, supply chain, etc. on global and local transfer pricing matters
- Develop a deep understanding of Celanese business, value chain, and global transfer pricing policies/framework
- Review, analyze, and reconcile financial data, intercompany agreements, and other relevant data for implementation of new and existing intercompany transactions in alignment with global transfer pricing policies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with progressive responsibilities in transfer pricing with a Fortune 500 company and/or Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Ability to network and influence within a global organization.
- Superior analytical and qualitative skills, attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, accounting, finance, or related field required; Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MBT, JD, etc.) in tax, accounting, finance, economics, or related fields preferred.
- In depth understanding of OECD and local country transfer pricing regulations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing industry.
- Experience in SAP and/or other ERP is highly desired.
- Experience with Alteryx and/or other data analytics tools.
- Advanced financial modeling, database, and research skills.
