We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person to join our team as Sustainability Specialist to work hand in hand with the General Manager on a sustainability project. Responsibilities:
- Definition of the most relevant aspects of Environmental Social Governance (ESG) for the business and the development of sustainability strategies being in coordination between the different areas of the company.
- Preparation of sustainability reports and integrated reports.
- Identification of environmental opportunities: Seeking opportunities to improve the environmental performance of organisations.
- Non-financial reporting and sustainability indices.
- Carbon footprint and risks and opportunities arising from Climate Change.
- Sustainable finance and circular economy.
- Identify and quantify needs for the development of projects and lines of action.
- Recognise and quantify the risks and opportunities associated with the projects.
- Environmental impact assessment: Carry out assessments of environmental impact information reported in Sustainability.
- Environmental risk analysis: Identifying and assessing environmental risks associated with operations.
- Reporting and certification: Preparing technical reports documenting the findings and recommendations resulting from the assessments carried out. In addition, verification of Sustainability Reports or environmental KPIs to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Graduates in Tourism, Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Sciences or other areas.
- Candidates with an interest in Sustainability, Climate Change, Non-Financial Risks and advising companies in this field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in: auditing preferably related to sustainability and/or consultancy with a focus on areas related to sustainability project management.
- High level of English.
- Postgraduate training in Sustainability, Sustainable Finance or Non-Financial Risk Management is desirable.
- Good command of Microsoft Office package (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
