Description
SafetyWing (YC W18) is seeking a Product Marketer who will streamline our marketing strategies to enhance the success of our insurance products. In this role, you will dive into market research, craft compelling messaging, oversee product launches, and develop tools to boost customer acquisition and retention. Your efforts will ensure our audience understands and values our products, directly contributing to our growth.
We are on a mission to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone. And we are doing that by creating simple health, insurance, and retirement products for remote workers worldwide as a replacement for national welfare systems.
Your responsibilities will include
- Talking to our customers to find out why they buy our products and keeping an eye on market trends.
- Crafting clear and engaging messages that resonate with our diverse audience.
- Leading efforts to track and refine our growth, making data-driven suggestions for enhancements.
- Ensuring that both our team and customers have a deep understanding and appreciation of our product.
- Managing our website in collaboration with the design team to ensure it reflects our core messaging.
- Coordinating the launch of new features and product updates, prioritizing alignment with our product's core principles.
- Crafting marketing tools like web pages and ads to attract and keep customers, always seeking ways to do it better.
- Collaborating with customer success to proactively tackle customer issues and refine their experience.
- Leveraging your deep understanding of our product principles to make wise decisions, especially in managing projects and product launches.

- Has a strong background in product marketing, preferably in both B2C and B2B environments.
- Has experience in creating strategies that resonate with target audiences.
- Is a team player who's eager to collaborate across functions to achieve shared goals.
- Is an innovative thinker, always looking for new ways to engage customers and improve their experience with our products.
- Has a strong ability to communicate complex ideas simply and attractively.
- Is driven by data to make decisions and improve product positioning.
