Job description

Oversee and manage the Corporate and Statutory ledgers in Europe and Asia, verify that all entities are complying with the internal and external rules. Control fixed cost and provide essential information for the leader´s decision making process. Act as financial partner to the business units to support them in different finance matters. Contribute to maintaining financial accuracy and supporting overall organizational success.

Role & Responsibilities:

Manage and develop a plan to ensure CORP and STAT are in sync and develop different tools to provide to the different legal entities the knowledge and know-how about how the ERP works. Being in contact with many different partners around the world to understand and address unique situations and being able to set an action plan to resolve them. Utilize the new tools available to be successful (Teams, Jira, Power Bi, Power Automate…) and co-lead the deployment of ARCS secondary reconciliation across all international entities. Customize the deployment process to accommodate the unique requirements and regulations of each entity.

Control costing and provide essential information for the leader’s decision-making process. Monitor and analyze different variable and fixed costs across EUROPA/ASIA. Identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. Collaborate with different plant locations. Understand their specific cost gaps and work towards closing them. Effective communication and follow-up ensure alignment with cost targets

Oversee the implementation of solutions to address finance-related challenges. Take ownership of some of them and ensure that each action has a responsible person and progress is make until all actions are implemented. Drive action, track progress and ensure accountability in resolving finance challenges.

Embrace new tools such as Power BI, Power Automate-RPA. Become proficient in their usage to enhance data visualization, automation and efficiency. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and tools relevant to project management, such as JIRA, Microsoft teams. Utilize these platforms effectively for streamlined collaboration and project tracking. Adopting and mastering cutting-edge technologies to improve processes and project management.

Enhancing reporting with the new technologies available (Power BI). Be an important part of developing new reports to improve the capabilities of analyses. Work with a multidisciplinary team to implement the changes/tests needed to deploy these new automatic reports. Create insightful and visually appealing reports that empower decision-makers.

Be prepared to assist and support various areas of work impacting FPA as required. Such as specific analyses impacting costs, general ledger analyses, new finance projects. In general support the growth and impact plan across the organization.

Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

+6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Audit; working with CORP and STAT books.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Advanced knowledge of Excel. Desired experience with BI tools and Oracle or SAP.

Intercultural and global mindset. Previously worked in international environments.

Sharp organizational and analytical skills.

Strong planning skills and deadline-driven.

Must be a proactive, self-motivated and creative person.
