The role is to develop, implement, monitor and realize the Sourcing strategy for the Category, within companies' requirements and guidelines, to ensure results on all agreed goals with BU and Group functions, and to contribute to the overall result for dsm-firmenich

Your key responsibilities
- Develop category strategy and approved plan for his/her category
- Lead deployment of the strategy in the Category and assign priorities for procurement initiatives
- Prepare and lead fact based negotiations, supplier selection and contracting process.
- Manage procurement initiatives in close alignment with involved stakeholders and procurement colleagues
- Account management for Key suppliers. Develop and manage relationship with key suppliers and track their performance (Key Supplier Management (KSM) including contract management (all valid and up to date)
- Manage knowledge sharing, collaboration and proper communication between Category managers and buyers within the Category and across Categories by providing strategy and deep category expertise and ensure the use of standardized processes and the application of proven best practices.
- Contribute to the dsm-firmenich Indirect strategy development
- Improve and reinforce the dsm-firmenich Indirect Procurement profile and recognition within the internal stakeholder community

You bring
- Bachelors' degree in a relevant expertise area, Master’s degree preferred.
- Local language and English required, other languages a plus
- Min 5 years expertise in either Procurement or Business context
- Category management, Strategic thinking & creativity, Collaboration excellence,
- Influencing & motivating others
- Entrepreneurship
- Demand Management / Negotiation skills
- Data analytics and ability to gather business intelligence
- Own and deliver the outcome
