Join our dynamic and growing team at HSP Group as a Directorof Engineering. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the technical vision andexecution for our new SaaS products focused on global expansion management(GXM). We’re looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record inearly-mid stage B2B product development, a strong grasp of softwarearchitecture, and a passion for building scalable, secure solutions thatdeliver value to our customers. Your success in delivering results will come froma combination of technical expertise, a strong track record, a commitment tooperational excellence, and the ability to mentor and mature full-timeemployees and manage vendor relationships. This role reports directly to theHead of Product.
Responsibilities:
- Developand implement IT engineering and Agile DevOps strategies that supportorganizational objectives.
- Leadand mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of achievement,innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Managethe full lifecycle of software development, from strategic planning toexecution, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
- Drivecross-functional collaboration with product management and CX leaders tomeet product goals and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Overseeinfrastructure management and advocate for the adoption of emergingtechnologies.
- Directperformance optimization efforts and establish Development KPIs to gaugesuccess.
- Serveas a technical thought leader and maintain vendor relationships, nurturingprofessional growth within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Provenexperience (10+ years) in a leadership role overseeing IT engineering,Agile development, and DevOps practices.
- ExtensiveB2B SaaS Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS,Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Developmentand architecture experience, with a proven leadership background.
- Expertisein managing technical teams and executing high-trust, secure software.
- Proficientin Agile and DevOps methodologies, with a strategic and tactical approachto problem-solving.
- Strongcommunication skills and the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.
- Relevantcertifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, AWS Certified DevOpsEngineer) are a plus.
