IE University is seeking a Senior Associate Director to contribute to our cutting-edge educational initiatives within the Law School department!
The Senior Associate Director will support the Dean, Vice Dean for Programs and the respective Program Directors in the implementation of the School’s strategy, with a specific focus on the development of new academic, institutional and corporate partnerships and the curation, consolidation and deepening of existing ones. Their duties will include the regular contact with partners and the exploration of new collaborations with a view to support the growth of the School’s programs and activities as well as the implementation of those at a program level.
They will liaise with transversal departments of IE University, particularly with Corporate Development, Marketing, Communications, Provost Office, Marketing, International Development, Alumni, and the IE Foundation.

Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and deepen the School’s existing partnerships, especially with other universities, leading international organizations and the legal sector, bringing them to the next level of excellence and value added for our programs and activities.
- Design specific activities with the School’s partners and support the Program Directors in their implementation and follow-up at a program level (e.g. dual international programs, capstone projects, summer programs, externships, etc.).
- Expand the quantity and quality of the Law School’s partnerships in alignment with the School’s overall strategy for the next 5 years, with a focus on establishing collaborations with new institutional and corporate partners.
- Support efforts to position the School as one of the world’s leading Law Schools, including through its active engagement and participation in international networks and consortia.
- Support the daily engagement of the School with these actors.
- Monitor the educational market and support the Vice Dean for programs in the developing of new programs and activities for the School as needed.
- Coordinate operational issues related to partnerships and development with other IE departments as required (corporate development, admissions, marketing, communications, international development, finance planning & control, provost office, administration, careers, alumni relations, corporate and institutional relations, international mobility, facilities, IT, human resources, campus life…)
- Lead strategic and special projects as requested by the Dean and the Vice Dean for Programs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, preferably in Law, Business or International Relations/ Policy.
- Excellent command of English and an Advanced level of Spanish.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience with strong project management capabilities.
- International professional experience and exposure to working in multicultural teams.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative spirit.
- Solid customer management skills, ability to work under pressure, a high level of accountability and initiative.
- Experience in the global management education sector would be valued.
- Academic background in Law would be valued.
