European Projects Manager – Communication and Dissemination

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA OFERTA

The role will focus on the development and implementation of communication and dissemination activities in the framework of relevant European Research and Innovation projects. The successful candidate will work within the FEUGA Innovation and EU Programmes team and will collaborate with external partners (scientific community and industry) from different research areas and countries.

TITULACIÓN REQUERIDA

The job position requires a project manager profile able to deliver the following main tasks:

Design and implementation of tailor-made communication and dissemination activities (according to the project plan, progress against the schedule, and available resources): communication and dissemination plan, multi-actor approach methodologies, stakeholders’ engagement strategies, website and social media management, project organization, network-wide activities, etc.

Lead specific project tasks and coordinate the partners involved in the activities.
Follow-up the project plan implementation in terms of activity progress and performance, budget, and timings. Analysing and monitoring risks (technical and financial) and proposing solutions, in coordination with the Head of Unit and project team.

Project reporting including both project deliverables (according to the project plan) and periodic EC progress reports preparation and management. The successful candidate will be in charge of both technical and financial aspects (in close collaboration with FEUGA EU Projects Finance team).

Collaboration in the definition of tailor-made communication and dissemination strategies for pre-award/submission stages when needed.

 

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

University degree in Journalism, Communication or similar Master is a must.
At least 3 years-experience in management of EU projects (FP7, H2020, INTERREG, LIFE, ...).
Proven expertise in communication and dissemination activities implementation.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English (C1), both oral and writing. Other languages will be appreciated.
Availability and willingness to travel abroad for project meetings and events.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Knowledge of project management standards and methodologies.
Organizational and analytical skills including ability to meet strict deadlines, prioritise and multi-tasking across several projects.
Ability to understand scientific/technical messages and effectively transmit them to a variety of different audiences.
Experience as meeting facilitator, group dynamics and events moderation
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, including ability to create and maintain relationships with many partners (academia and industry)
Knowledge of graphic design software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and/or web CMS (WordPress, etc.).
