Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The Technical Director - Bossar is responsible for leading and managing the crucial division within SIG Global Technology Organization. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking to drive innovation, product development, and ensure high-quality products that meet customer expectations. The Technical Director - Bossar manages a team of R&D engineers, coordinates research activities, and fosters cross-functional collaborations. Drive Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and develop new products that meet customer needs. Identify market trends, explore emerging technologies, and translate consumer insights into successful offerings. Ensure Product Excellence: Develop products that excel in quality, taste, nutrition, safety, and sustainability. Implement quality control measures, adhere to regulatory standards, and improve product formulations and processes. Enhance Speed to Market: Streamline the product development process, reduce time-to-market. Collaborate cross-functionally, manage projects effectively, and utilize advanced technologies for efficient innovation cycles. Foster Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Encourage collaboration within the department and with external partners. Build strategic partnerships, share expertise, and leverage external resources to drive innovation and growth. Leadership and Strategy:- Develop and execute the center's strategic plan, aligning it with overall goals and objectives. - Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a diverse team. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Product Development and Innovation:- Drive innovation and lead product development initiatives to maintain competitiveness. - Identify consumer trends and market opportunities for innovative products. - Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring quality and timelines. - Collaborate with other functions for seamless integration of development activities.  Technical Expertise and Research:- Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulations. - Provide technical guidance & review of project specifications- Foster a culture of scientific rigor and advanced research methodologies. Stakeholder Management and Customer Satisfaction:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate their requirements. - Build strategic partnerships with external stakeholders for customer insights and resources.   You bring these skills, experience & education Intermediate or higher degree university studiesMechanical and/or electronic engineering preferredExcellent command of speaking, reading and writing in EnglishExcellent command, speaking, reading and writing in SpanishProven track record of successful leadership and management experience in a similar role within the packaging or food and beverage industry. Strong technical expertise in packaging, machinery, food science, product development, and related technologies. Excellent understanding of packaging regulation, food safety regulations, quality management systems, and industry best practicesExceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
