Job description

Your mission

We are a product-oriented company, providing solutions to society. Thanks to our technology, we prevent minors from accessing betting shops, we allow a Mexican pensioner to give proof of life from his own home or we make it easier for thousands of young people to use electric motorbikes in big cities. And these are just a few examples. As part of the Product Development team and reporting to the Head of Product Development, you will perform, among others, the following functions:

• Design, development, implementation and maintenance of functionalities and product taking into account issues such as performance, scalability or security.
• Actively participate in the software development cycle (requirements, design, implementation, testing, maintenance...).
• Be an active part in code reviews, product documentation, evaluation and test plan, as well as in the improvement of team dynamics and processes.
• Optimisation of the product for its robustness, reduction of the use of resources and improvement of the user experience.
• Collaboration in the technical growth of the team by supervising, supporting and training junior and mid-level developers.
• Participate in the definition of the team's strategy and planning, contributing ideas to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in achieving its objectives.
• Actively participate in the strategic definition of the team and the company's technology.

Your profile

If everything you have read fits you, we would like you to meet these requirements:

• Qualification: training cycle/university degree related to the position and functions.
• Experience: +4 years in similar positions.
• Languages: Advanced English, especially in written comprehension.
• Attitudes: initiative, teamwork, problem solving, analytical skills, empathy and communication.
• Technical skills:

- Advanced knowledge of Javascript/ Typescript.
- Experience with at least one of the following frameworks: Angular, React, Vue.
- Experience with WebComponents, better if it is Lit.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS layout: Flex, Grid, Parts
- Knowledge of software architecture in web applications and experience with good design practices, patterns, testing, etc.
- (Git)

Besides, it would be a big plus if you have any of these technical skills:

• Tensorflow
• WebViews, Cordoba, ionic
• Web workers
• Knowledge in building and managing bundled libraries and applications using Rollup or Webpack
• Open CV
• Monorepos (we work with lerna)
