Lotus Bakeries Spain has been strongly growing its Retail presence in the past years. We are currently looking to expand our Field Force Retail with an experienced Sales Representative for the Greater Madrid Area, to work closely together with the Spanish Sales Office in Las Rozas de Madrid.As aSales Representative you will be responsible for a fixed portfolio of Retail and C&C Points of Sales (POS) in a certain geographical Area. These outlets are visited based on a predefined visit plan, based on required visit frequency and optimal route planning.
The Sales Rep Retail role needs to achieve predefined targets in every POS, by focusing on the following main tasks:
- Maximizing store distribution for the listed Lotus Bakeries Spain assortment. Secure proper execution of centrally agreed new product addidtions to the assortment. Use rankings and analysis to fill up "white spots".
- Optimal shelf placement and planogram in the relevant product categories.
- Check consumer pricing and secure clear and correct shelf communication
- Excellent execution of national or banner specific promotions in the POS (central visibility)
- Local visiblility: negotiate and drive local 2nd placements to stimulate sell-out
Profile
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales professional, with proven experience in managing top Retail POS in the Greater Madrid region. Age preferrably around 35 years. Key characteristics:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Field Sales on leading brands within FMCG.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Solid knowledge of Excel
- Experience with CRM tools.
- High stress tolerance, able to manage multiple tasks in the POS (given we have broad portfolio)
- Driving results (going the extra mile to get things done).
- Good analytical and numerical understanding.
- Understanding the quote ”Retail = Detail”, meaning that excellent execution is key.
