Job description
JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services. 4PL is looking for a Project Manager to support their growing team. This position can sit anywhere for the right candidate, location is not an issue. Your key responsibilities :Support in the coordination and successful delivery of Global Strategy projectsCoordinate cross-functional, cross-regional teams throughout all project phasesApply best fit project execution strategies (agile vs. waterfall vs. hybrid) based on individual requirements per projectActively monitor and report project progress and define measures for escalation / prioritizationDesign and support project coordination meetings, events, prepare presentations in support of project needsEnsure that all project team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectivelyEnsure the use of JAS’ project tool WRIKE by all project partners during the project phaseFoster a culture based on trust and accountabilitySupport the creation of project management standards with regards to planning, execution, and documentation together with the global JAS Project Management Community and the global PMOYour ideal qualifications :Bachelor degree in Business Administration or other related fieldsMultiple years of proven experience in international project and / or program managementStrong familiarity with project management software, tools, methodologies, and best practicesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredProven ability to solve problems creatively paired with excellent communication skills at all levelsA natural networker with great interpersonal skills which enable to work closely with internal and external stakeholdersCritical thinkingKnowledge about Logistics / Forwarding business and processes beneficialFluency in English, proficiency in a further language beneficialJAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. #J-18808-Ljbffr
