Job Description

Are you a passionate Employee Relations Specialist looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for a new team member to lead and manage all matters related to Employee Relations & Compliance within the Iberia region.

In this role, you will work closely with the People Team to oversee and ensure compliance with conventional, legal, contractual, and group policies. You will also working closely with the Workers Councils for the region, leading meetings, negotiating agreements, and ensuring adoption of the Groups strategy into local labor frameworks.

Responsabilidades principales • Advising on local strategy for ER Management in the Iberia region, analysing current processes and policies and advising on best practice.
• Drafting and validating legal documents, managing claims and reporting on legal risk.
• Participating in processes such as disciplinary procedures and litigation before labor tribunals
• Managing relationships with external advisors (lawyers, experts and notaries etc).
• Identifying key HR priorities having an ER impact and propose interventions.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and fit for purpose.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders on health and safety and wellbeing initiatives.

Skills, Know-how and Experience

Our successful candidate will be an experienced ER specialist with experience working within a complex organisation. Reporting into the leadership team in the UK, candidates must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Alongside this, you’ll be,

• Have strong labor law knowledge and experience working with colleague forums and Workers councils.
• The ability to create and develop sustainable and trusting relationships.
• Commercially savvy and business orientated with strong negotiation skills.
• Analytical with an aptitude for data-based decision making.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and thrives in a fast paced environment.
• Resilient and adaptable and able to work at a senior level.
• Experience within a global matrix organisation would be advantageous.

This role is to be based in our Madrid office, with hybrid working opportunities.
