ARQUIMEA , we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.
Our areas of activity are Aerospace, Defense & Security, Big Science, Biotechnology and Fintech .
In ARQUIMEA SPACE develops spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers . We specialize in thermal control systems, structural panels, optical payloads, avionics, release and deployment mechanisms, and rad-hard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide high-throughput smallsats and their subsystems . Our brand-new factory in Madrid is suited to integrate satellites and constellations .
Now, we're hiring a Project Manager (Space) to be located in our Headquarters in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
Tasks to be performed :
- Coordinate , as main responsible, the complete life of the projects assigned: planning, execution and closure.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time , within scope and within budget with the quality standards and procedures of the company.
- Develop project scopes and objective s, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and appropriate risk management.
- Coordinate project communications , managing the iteration with project stakeholders as subcontractors, partners and customers.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation .
Required skills, experience and candidate profile :
- University degree in Engineering . Specialization in Aerospace, Microelectronics, Electronics Telecommunications systems or FW / SW
- Relevant experience (more than 7 years) .
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMI methodologies) is desirable.
- Previous experience in space projects desirable.
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite .
- Proactive, autonomous and team player .
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills . Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
- Proficient in English .
- Eligible to work in the EU.
